For top ten global provider of transportation and logistics solutions we are looking for suitable candidate on position Customer Service Manager.

Realizing the conditions under which the department can meet its service objectives such as ensuring skilled personnel, arranging schedules and days off. Guiding and supervising the work performance and solving non-standard questions and problems; provides periodic reports to client and employer and contributes to process improvements.


Knowledge/ skills:
 

  • The main services, products and activities of the client; is informed by the client on product and process modifications
  • Service level agreement that the client uses regarding time / speed of deliveries, warranty and cost allocation
  • The use of different computer programs such as Microsoft Office and warehouse systems; is being informed by the manager regarding the changes
  • Recruitment, selection and guiding and coaching by means of personal performance indicators
  • Periodic reports to client, such as Key Performance Indicators.



Responsibilities and influence:

  • Works independently; coordinates staffing and operation of 5–10 people; prepares decisions by managers such as on employment, contract performance, contract termination
  • Ensures adequate use of staff, the information infrastructure and workspaces; maintains indicators to monitor the work quality
  • Resolves problems where the employees need support such as regarding delivery, transportation, cost allocation, complaints and returns; weighs interests of the employer, client and use.



Social skills, communication skills:
 

  • Coordinating the activities and staffing, providing additional explanation, provides direction to the employees and, if necessary, corrective action; maintains desired service level
  • Maintains frequent (telephone) contact with customers and carriers; clarifies if necessary questions, provides information, makes appointments, obtains cooperation and soothes complainants
  • Selects candidates, and is responsible for the training of the recruited candidates
  • Can express himself in Czech, English and preferably also in German, treating sometimes difficult topics involving technicalities, administrative, transport and procedural issues.



Operation skill, vigilance, other job requirements:
 

  • Is vigilant in monitoring individual and group-based quantitative and qualitative results of the department and its registration
  • Is able to identify problems and solves these accordingly
  • The vigilance and attention are complicated by the multitude of simultaneously running activities, the technical diversity of the products, the geographic distribution of customers (multiple countries with somewhat own rules) and working with several computer programs
  • Has a great deal of perseverance to continue to encourage the team members to realize the customer service level
  • Stress resistance.
