Popis pracovní nabídky

As Chief Accountant for the Czech Republic, ensuring maintenance and control of accounting activities, including local statutory Accounts and IFRS reporting, taxation. Responsible for the general ledger accounting + reporting to holding company in compliance with IFRS and internal policies. Responsible for budgeting and forecasting process as well as for giving financial support to local business organisation.

Accounting:
  • Responsible for proper and adequate preparation of Financial Statements under both local GAAP and IFRS
  • Performs analyses of statutory accounts
  • Ensure that accounting records are compliant with accounting policies
  • Responsible for timely payroll preparation
  • Responsible for proper preparation of tax records and returns
  • Participates in implementation of tax strategy
  • Performs research on potential impact of changes in the law and accounting or taxation rules to financial statements

Controlling:
  • Participates in preparation of budgets and forecasts, taking into account guidelines sent by financial management as well as coordinates the delivery of them within the deadlines established centrally
  • Provides qualitative analysis of the information delivered to central, ensures visibility and explanation of variances observed against budget, forecast, previous year
  • Supports continous adaptation of processes, procedures and tools used to meet both local business and central requirements
  • Develops reports for senior management on performance, participates in monthly meetings with cost center Managers to review the performance and trends
  • Support in implementation of the tools / systems deployed

Požadujeme

  • University degree (Economist / Business Administration / Finance studies)
  • At least 5 years experience in finance area of multinational company
  • ENGLISH advanced
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • IFRS knowledge is a MUST
  • Knowledge of local tax policies
  • Experience in controlling (budgeting, analyses, business support)
  • Organized, structured and accure
  • Accountebility and proactivity
  • Analytic skills
  • Capable of working independently
